Education Scholarships
In 2001 Bangkok Bank and the Chin Sophonpanich Foundation provided 1,302 scholarships worth more than 3.9 million Baht to students in secondary schools and tertiary level. Through its nationwide branch network, the Bank has strong links with the local community which enables it to select underprivileged students with good academic potential.

With the Bank's support, these students have access to an education that will help them and their families to make a fresh start and take the first steps towards a happy and successful future.
 
Student Internship Program (SIP)
Each year Bangkok Bank organizes month-long training programs to give students and graduates from throughout Thailand hands-on experience in banking and financial services.
 
Since it started in 1984, the program has organized 34 classes for domestic and overseas students. Equipped with a better understanding of real-world experiences in banking and finance, many students go on to develop careers in banking - some with Bangkok Bank.
 
The Bank also supports activities contributing to the development of knowledge and the expertise of youth at all levels, such as the International Chemistry Olympics, the Education Ministry's English Contest and university conferences nationally and internationally.
