Bangkok Bank makes it easy for you to invest in equities, bonds and money markets. You'll have easy access to your funds at all branches nationwide (excluding microbranches) and when you redeem the units, you'll get your money the next working day (only for a Bangkok Bank account).

Investing in Bangkok Bank's mutual funds gives you the opportunity to earn higher returns than a normal savings account. In a mutual fund, your money is combined with other peoples to invest in stock, bond and money markets as specified in the prospectus of each fund which has been approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).


Investment Strength of Mutual Funds
Mutual Funds help lower your risk by its diversification of investment. Your assets will be professionally managed by Bangkok Bank's affiliate, BBL Asset Management Company Limited. Additionally, you have investment strength because your money is pooled with other peoples and you don't need to pay tax on your return.

Which Mutual Fund is Right for me?
Bangkok Bank has various mutual funds to serve all your needs. Find out here about the investment policy of each different mutual fund.


This fund focuses on the security and liquidity of the investment. It invests in high-quality debt instruments such as Bank of Thailand bonds, government bonds, treasury bills, certificate of deposits, or debentures issued by private companies. This type of fund does not invest in stock such as Bualuang Thanatavee Fixed Income Fund.
Equity Funds invest in company stocks of up to 65% of its Net Asset Value (NAV). Bangkok Bank Equity Funds include the Buakaew Open-end Fund, Buakaew 2 Open-end Fund, Buakaew Income Fund, Sub Bualuang Open-end Fund, Bualuang Top-Ten Open-end Fund, Bualuang Infrastructure Open-end Fund and Bualuang Thanakom Open-end Fund.


A Mixed Fund diversifies its investments in both debt instruments and equity instruments to decrease risk. Bangkok Bank Mixed Funds include the Buakwan Open-end Fund, B-Flex Open-end Fund, and B-Active Open-end Fund.
Retirement Mutual Funds (RMF) provide you a long-term savings plan to finance you when you retire. They also offer special tax deductible incentives and are exempt from capital gain tax. Bangkok Bank RMF's include the Bualuang Equity RMF, Bualuang Flexible RMF and Bualuang Fixed-income RMF.


Long Term Mutual Funds invest up to 65% of its Net Asset Value in stocks and is promoted by the government to increase investments in the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). Like RMF, LTF also offers you special tax benefit. Bangkok Bank's LTF is called the Bualuang Long-Term Equity Fund.
Bangkok Bank presents the Bualuang Thanarat mutual fund. The fund has lowest risk since it invests in debt instruments which are guaranteed by the government or by the Financial Institutions Development Fund and deposits. It will auto-redeem the units as scheduled and indicated in the prospectus of each fund without having to pay personal income tax.
