This is the third consecutive year that the Bank has won this award. The magazine selects the best bank in countries around the world based on the overall performance of the bank, including the quality of its loan book, the range of services and products and the fundamental financial position.
Best Bank in Thailand by Global Finance magazine
Global Finance has given this award to Bangkok Bank for the third consecutive year. In the May 2003 issue in which the magazine announced the best bank in emerging markets 2003, it described Bangkok Bank as the largest bank in Thailand and said the bank’s recovery over the past two years has been emblematic of a return to stability for the country’s economy as a whole.
