• Bank of the Year 2007 by Money and Banking magazine

Bangkok Bank was chosen as the Bank of the Year 2007 by Money and Banking magazine. The magazine reviewed the performance of Thai financial institutions from July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007.

In addition to its strong financial performance, the judges also praised Bangkok Bank for its outstanding management, customer base and long-term relationships. The bank has a large and expanding branch network in Thailand and the major economic zones in the Asian region.

Bangkok Bank has significantly extended its ATM network, adding over 1500 machines during the last 12 months to reach more than 4100 ATMs and it plans to add more than 1500 new ATM machines next year. The bank’s convenient network also includes more than 600 cash deposit machines, over 750 passbook update machines and 350 express deposit boxes. The bank currently has nearly 800 branches located in convenient locations nationwide.

Bangkok Bank has been selected as the 'Best Bank in Thailand 2007' by the London-based magazine Euromoney. The award was in recognition of the bank’s overall performance, including business volumes, innovative technologies, Bangkok Bank’s leading position in Thailand, credit rating and the quality of its assets and revenue.

• Best Trade Finance Bank 2007 by Alpha South East Asia magazine

Bangkok Bank has won a 'Best Trade Finance Bank 2007' Award from Alpha South East Asia magazine. The awards review the performance of financial institutions in five South East Asia countries – Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

• Best International Fund Transfer Bank by Deutsche Bank

Bangkok Bank has won a '2006 EURO Straight Through Processing Excellence' Award from Deutsche Bank for its outstanding performance in processing overseas fund transfer instructions. Bangkok Bank is the only Thai bank to have received the award and one of only three financial institutions in Asia to be awarded this year.

• Trusted Brand 2007 by Reader’s Digest magazine

Bangkok Bank has been honored with the award of 'Trusted Brand 2007' by Reader's Digest magazine. Bangkok Bank is the only brand in the banking category which has been given the award for four consecutive years by Reader’s Digest. The award criteria are based on six factors including reliability, quality, credibility and image, understanding of customers’ expectations and innovation through the introduction of new products and services to the market.

• Best Foreign Exchange Bank 2007 by Global Finance magazine

A strong mix of outstanding customer service, market share, scope of global coverage, innovative technologies and competitive pricing has earned Bangkok Bank the award for 'Best Foreign Exchange Bank in Thailand' from Global Finance magazine for the sixth consecutive year.
