- 2007 Euro STP Excellence Award by Deutsche Bank
Bangkok Bank has won the '2007 Euro STP Excellence Award' from Deutsche Bank for its outstanding performance in providing import and export trade services and its efficiency in delivering a global standard of payment operations. Bangkok Bank is one of a small number of financial institutions in Asia to be awarded this year.
- Best Sub-Custodian Bank in Thailand by Global Finance magazine
Bangkok Bank has been chosen as the 'Best Sub-Custodian Bank in Thailand' by Global Finance. Bangkok Bank received the award for its wide range of securities processing services. It is the only Thai bank offering a full range of custodian services to both local and foreign investors.
Bangkok Bank has won a 'Best Trade Finance Bank 2008' Award from Alpha South East Asia magazine. The awards review the performance of financial institutions in five South East Asia countries – Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

Bangkok Bank was chosen as the 'Bank of the Year 2008' by Money and Banking magazine. The magazine reviewed the performance of Thai financial institutions from 1 January - 31 December 2007. In addition to its strong financial performance, the judges also praised Bangkok Bank for its outstanding management and stability.

The Asian Banker, Asia’s leading financial and banking research group, has selected Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Piya Sosothikul as the inaugural winner of 'The Asian Banker Promising Young Banker Award for Thailand 2007' and 'The Asian Banker Promising Young Banker Award for the Asia Pacific Region 2007'. Mr. Piya is the first Thai to have won both awards, which are judged on three main criteria: responsibility in supervising a core business division; outstanding management performance and holding a top management position in the organization at under 40 years of age.
