Mr. Piti Sithi-Amnuai was appointed Co-Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Bangkok Bank in March 2008, another milestone in his long and distinguished career in finance and business.

Mr. Piti first joined Bangkok Bank in 1961 and has held many diverse executive posts including Manager of the Metropolitan Credit Department, Manager of the Corporate Finance Department, Executive Director in charge of the bank’s Metropolitan Branch Banking Division and head of domestic banking operations. He also served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors, and Chairman of the Risk Management Committee of the Bank.

Mr. Piti’s experience across a wide range of industries includes a number of senior board-level positions, namely, Chairman of the Asean Finance Corporation, a merchant bank headquartered in Singapore; Chairman of Berli Jucker PCL, Bangkok; Chairman of Siam Square Tower Co., Ltd.; Chairman of Shin Ho Paper, (Thailand) Ltd.; and Chairman of ADF-Rydges (Thailand) Ltd.

Mr. Piti currently holds advisory positions with Bangkok Insurance Public Co., Ltd. and Bangkok Life Co., Ltd.

Mr. Piti matriculated with an A-level from Cambridge University, U.K. (Overseas) and graduated from Hutchings Commercial College, Malaysia. He also holds a diploma in the Management Development Program from the Asian Institute of Management, the Philippines, and a Diploma in the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School, U.S.A.
