Bangkok Bank will be helping Taiwanese investors connect with Thai business people at the Taitronics Bangkok Exhibition to be held in the last week of July.
Taitronics is the biggest business-to-business exhibition to be held each year in Taiwan and is hosted by The Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA). The event in Bangkok will be the first time in 31 years that the exhibition, which is a showcase for Taiwan’s leading electronics companies, has been held outside Taiwan.
Leading electronic goods manufacturers from Taiwan, namely Tatung, BenQ Mobile Phone, Acer Computer, and Federal Tyres will showcase their products and innovation at the fair. Bangkok Bank is the only commercial bank to have an exhibition booth at the event which will be held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center (BITEC), Bang Na, from 27-30 July.
Bangkok Bank Senior Executive Vice President, Mr. Prasong Uthaisangchai, said the exhibition would be focusing on the electronic and auto part industries and it aimed to grow Taiwanese businesses in the Southeast Asian market using Thailand as a hub.
“With more than 40 years experience of doing business in Taiwan and over 60 years of experience in Thailand, Bangkok Bank has built up many enduring relationships in both countries which means we can help our Taiwanese and Thai partners to do business together.
“Bangkok Bank will showcase its major commercial banking products and services including trade services, foreign exchange and remittance processing services, and lending solutions.
“These products and services are convenient, reliable and cost efficient, so they are very useful for Taiwanese entrepreneurs who want to invest in Thailand. Our Chinese speaking staff will also be available at the booth to support Taiwanese visitors,” Mr. Prasong concluded.
