ePAY uses a highly secure system featuring multiple checks. Users require their own Smart Card to login and have to enter their PIN number prior to making any transactions. The Smart Card serves as a user ID card which electronically stores the personal password of the user.

You have to use your Smart Card together with your password to sign a Digital Signature to confirm the transaction. This Digital Signature prevents others from fraudulently making payments from your account. The ePAY system will then encrypt the information until it reaches the real recipient.
