Government Supported Loans

As an SME, you may find that you can borrow more at lower rates under government supported schemes. Drop in at our Business Centers across Thailand to find out about these special loans. 


Research and Technology Development Loan
  If you have a project to develop an innovative product or new technology or to upgrade your existing manufacturing technology, come to Bangkok Bank. We work with the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) to offer you low-interest loans for a maximum of 30 million Bt and up to 75% of the total project cost to support innovative product ideas.

High Potential – Low Assets
If your business has high potential but your asset value does not meet the requirements of financial institutions, you may be eligible for up to 40 million Bt through the loan guarantee scheme. Speak to our bank representatives for more details, you may find you are eligible for a higher credit line than you expect.

Promissory Notes
To fund working capital, Bangkok Bank and the Bank of Thailand will support you with SME loans offering interest rates at the Minimum Lending Rate (MLR)-2.75% per annum for up to five years. You will need to submit a promissory note along with a list of expenses for the four months prior to the date of your loan application. Promissory notes generally require a delivery receipt or an invoice.

Innovation Development loans

To nurture your innovation development, Bangkok Bank works with the National Innovation Agency by offering loans to help your investment. If you are confident that you have innovations to grow your business, even if you are a new entrepreneur, we are ready to support you. You can borrow up to  100 million Bt and will be freed from paying interest of up to 5 million Bt for three years.
