Mr. Veerapan Tantipong is an entrepreneur who has developed natural Thai ingredients into health-giving food supplements through his company Bee Product Industries. Thanks to a Bangkok Bank Innovation Development Loan in 2005, the company was able to develop Limex, a supplementary food made from an extract of royal jelly and the herb Kaempferia (Krachai dum). The supplement helps prevent and relieve liver and kidney ailments, such as infections or inflammation, and it can even help in cases of renal failure brought on by alcohol-poisoning, intake of toxic substances or an adverse reaction to medicines.

“Bangkok Bank played a vital role as it supported us while we did the research and development for our product, said Mr. Veerapan. The Innovation Development Loan is a joint project between Bangkok Bank and the National Innovation Agency (NIA) and this has enabled us to produce beneficial products to serve people and the community.

“Bangkok Bank is a genuine business partner because it is not only offering the Innovation Development Loan but also giving us opportunities to meet and work with other entrepreneurs through the Bualuang SME club, which the bank sponsors,” Mr. Veerapan said.

Mrs. Sirirat was banking with another bank when she learned that Bangkok Bank was offering loans in the Asset Capitalization project. That interested her as it meant she could use her lease with the Crown Property Bureau as collateral for a loan to build serviced apartments. So she visited Bangkok Bank’s Si Racha Business Center in Chon Buri province.

“Since the first day I went to consult with Bangkok Bank about the Asset Capitalization project the bank has not let me down because the Relationship Manager and Relationship Officer are lending experts and they know this project very well.

“With Bangkok Bank’s support, the serviced apartment construction has progressed quickly. I’m impressed by Bangkok Bank’s fast service and the advice on a range of matters from the Relationship Managers and Relationship Officers,” Mrs. Sirirat concluded.

Mr. Sanan Angubolkul is an exporter who has been building international awareness for the Thai brand Superware. The product has already been introduced in more than 60 countries.

As an environmentally-concerned CEO Mr. Sanan took out an Energy-Saving loan from Bangkok Bank in order to upgrade the machinery and install new energy-efficient interior fittings at his factory on Suksawat road. The Energy-Saving loans is a joint project between Bangkok Bank and the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE) to promote energy conservation

“Bangkok Bank has done a lot for us,” said Mr. Sanan. “Ever since we first opened an account at the bank’s Ratchawong branch 44 years ago, we have had a strong relationship with the bank’s managers and officers and have used many products and services of the bank. During the economic crisis we were able to provide complete information to the bank and we paid our debts fully without asking for any debt reduction.”
