Express Banking

At your service seven days a week
Bangkok Bank's Bualuang Express booths provide you with most of your banking needs, day and night, seven days a week.

Automatic Teller Machine (ATM)
You can withdraw cash, transfer money between your accounts or to other people's accounts, pay bills for mobile phones, pagers, overseas calls, and check your account balance.

Cash Deposit Machine (CDM)
You can use the CDM to deposit cash with full confidence because you can verify and confirm every step during the transaction and it prints out a receipt for you to keep for future reference.
When you feed notes into the CDM, it will authenticate the note for you, read the value of the note, and show the accumulated total on the screen. Once you have finished feeding in the notes, key in the number of the account where you want the money to go to. You will be asked to verify the amount and the account number before you press the confirm button to end the transaction. The CDM will then print out a receipt for you.

Express Drop Box (EDB)
If you want to deposit cash or a cheque, or if you are paying bills with a value up to 5,000Bt; the EDB is a convenient way to do it. Rather like a post box it is cleared at fixed times during the day and most transactions are processed on the same day. They are located in most branches.

Fill in the form, according to the instructions on the deposit envelope. It is a carbon copy so keep one copy for yourself.   Put the cheque or cash into the envelope, seal the envelope, insert the form into the deposit slot, wait for a receipt slip, and keep your copy of the form and the slip for your future reference. Your cash deposit or bill payment will be recorded on the following working day. If it is a cheque, it will be processed the following working day and cleared the day after.

Passbook Update Machine
This works by reading the barcode which is printed on the inside of your book. To start, open the passbook on the correct page and feed it into the machine. It will print out your transactions and tell you when to change pages.

If you haven't updated your passbook for a long time and have conducted many transactions in the meantime (for example using an ATM machine) then the balance which will be posted into the passbook may be a consolidated balance, not showing the details of individual transactions.

To keep your passbook in good shape you must keep it flat at all times.
Do you know?

Open every day
Most Bualuang Express booths are equipped with a set of four machines that can provide you with your everyday banking services. They are open 24 hours a day - unless they are located inside an establishment which closes earlier.
