It works just like a credit card but with all the features of an ATM card account. A debit card will deduct specified amounts from the available funds in your bank account and it will not allow you to build up any debt. A credit card allows you to extend your line of credit to an agreed amount beyond a zero bank account balance and interest is charged for the privilege of 'borrowing' the funds and you must make monthly payments until the debt is cleared.
You can spend up to 150,000Bt per day or, if you want to limit your expenses you can choose to cap your daily spending at 100,000Bt, 50,000Bt, or 20,000Bt.

Apply at your home branch. However, if you want to open a new savings or current account you can go into your nearest Bangkok Bank branch and apply for a Be1st card at the same time.
