1. Am I qualified for BBL-American Express Credit Card?
First of all you must have an average monthly income of at least 15,000Bt, which can be salary combined with other regular earnings such as bonus, commission, and overtime pay; as required by the Bank of Thailand (BOT). You may qualify for a Bangkok Bank American Express Gold Card with an average monthly earning of 40,000Bt or more. We also evaluate other several criteria when considering a credit card application.
2. Where do I sign up?
You can apply in person at any Bangkok Bank branch, or by mail. When you apply by mail you will need to obtain an application form from a branch, or call Cardmember Service Centre on (66) 0-2638-4000 and request a form be posted to you. Then please fill out the form and post it as well as required document to:

3. What documents do I need?You have to present only four documents when you apply for a BBL-American Express Credit Card. 1. A citizen ID card, or passport and work permit if you're an expatriate 2. A copy of house registration (not required for expatriate) 3. One of documents stating your income, such as a payroll slip, a letter certifying your income, a tax withholding slip, or the latest form and receipt of your annual personal income tax. 4. A copy of your savings or fixed account statement for the past six months from a bank or financial institution.
4. What else do I have to do if I need supplementary cards?
You must have an annual income of 60,000Bt to cover a supplementary card. The holder of the supplementary card must be 18 years of age. To apply for a supplementary card, you can specify in the application form and attach a copy of citizen ID card or passport of the supplementary card holder.
6. How can I receive my card?
You can pick up your card a Bangkok Bank branch convenient to you. You will need to specify in the application the branch from which you want to pick up your card. |
