Bualuang iPay is a new service provided by Bangkok Bank that uses Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode to offer additional security and confidence for customers using their Bangkok Bank’s Visa, MasterCard credit card or Be1st card to shop online.

Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode provide an extra level of security by using a password inquiry system that reduces the risk of someone else fraudulently using your card to make purchases online, and gives you the confidence that the online shop you are purchasing from is authorized by Visa International (Asia-Pacific) Ltd and MasterCard International (Asia-Pacific) Ltd.

• Any Bangkok Bank Visa credit card or Be1st card holder can register for Verified by Visa.
• Any Bangkok Bank MasterCard credit card holder can register for MasterCard SecureCode.
• If you are a credit card holder, you can register online by going to www.bangkokbank.com/bualuangipay. If you are a Be1st card holder, you will need to first register via Bualuang Phone 1333 where you will be asked to create your own 8-digit registration number. Once you have this number you can register online in the same way as credit card holders using the link on this site.
• Upon registration you will be asked to provide personal information which will be used to identify you when making future transactions. For Visa credit card or Be1st card holders you will be provided with a Verified by Visa password and a Personal Assurance Message (PAM). For MasterCard credit card holders you will receive a MasterCard SecureCode password and a Personal Greeting (PG).
• Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode can be used at any online shop that bears the Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode logo. You will be asked to provide the Verified by Visa password together with your Visa or Be1st card number, or MasterCard SecureCode together with your MasterCard credit card number.
• Your PAM or PG will appear on screen when you are shopping at an authorized online shop.
• If the PAM or PG shown on screen is different from the one you specified during registration that may mean this merchant is not authorized by Visa International or MasterCard International or that the authentication system is experiencing some problems. If this occurs, you should cancel the purchasing process immediately.

1. You will be protected by higher levels of security with the Verified by Visa password or MasterCard SecureCode inquiry system, an authorization code only known by you. This means no one will be able to use your card number for online payments without the Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode password.
2. You will gain increased confidence with the Personal Assurance Message (PAM) or the Personal Greeting (PG). These are messages that will appear on the website while you are making online transactions to ensure that the online shop is a Visa or MasterCard authorized merchant.
