We use very modern technology, so it won't take long at all. As soon as you have entered your card number and PIN to verify yourself, you can choose to process your transactions via the automated system or with a Customer Service Representative who will be able to access your account information and give you prompt service. You will be able to carry out simple transactions within a few minutes.
Your account information is always secure as long as you keep your PIN number confidential, as recommended by the Bank. Our Customer Service Representatives cannot see your PIN because they transfer your call to the automated service where you enter your code from your touch-tone phone and it registers directly into the Bank's mainframe computer.
As an extra precaution, Bangkok Bank has taken measures to protect your account so that if the wrong PIN is entered three times consecutively, the system will disable your card. To reactivate your card you need to go to an ATM and enter the valid PIN. However, if the wrong PIN is entered at the ATM, then your card will be confiscated automatically. When this occurs, Bualuang Phone Services will be unavailable for that ATM or Be 1st card, so you will need to apply for a new one.
