You can now transfer funds from your Bangkok Bank account to savings or current accounts at Kasikornbank (KBANK), Krung Thai Bank (KTB), Bank of Ayudhya (BAY), Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), TMB Bank (TMB), Siam City Bank (SCIB), United Overseas Bank (Thai) (UOBT).

Just activate the ‘SMS authentication’ service, in the ‘Preferences’ menu and add a 3rd party account by using the OTP sent via SMS to your mobile phone number. You can then make your funds transfer by going to the ‘Transfers’ menu.

You can also inform recipients of the transfer via SMS.

Invest in Mutual Funds via Bualuang iBanking

You can now view your mutual fund account information and send orders to buy, sell and switch your funds on Bualuang iBanking. The new service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Existing Bualuang iBanking users can register for Bualuang iBanking’s Mutual Fund service at any branch by completing the Bualuang iBanking Amendment Form and bringing in the following documents:

      1. ID card or passport
      2. Bangkok Bank mutual fund passbook (Unitholder number starting with 888)

You will be able to make transactions on your mutual fund account via Bualuang iBanking within five working days of applying at the branch.

Using Bualuang iBanking, you can make mutual funds transactions on the unitholder number starting with 888, such as Bualuang Thanatavee, Bualuang Buakaew, Bualuang Infrastructure, and Bualuang Top-Ten. For Bualuang Thanarat, Bualuang Thanasarn and Bualuang Thanasarn Plus, you can view your investment value daily.

To get started, log on to Bualuang iBanking and select the menu “Investment” or click “Mutual Fund Accounts” in the “My Accounts” page.

Online registration of 3rd party accounts

Now you can register 3rd party accounts online without having to go into a branch. Here’s how to do it:

   1. Go to the “Preferences” menu in Bualuang iBanking and click on the “Activate the SMS Authentication” sub-menu. Enter your mobile phone number (for your security, this number must match the number that you originally registered or subsequently amended with Bualuang iBanking).* Bualuang iBanking will confirm that Bangkok Bank is able to send SMS messages to you.

   2. Go to the “Transfers” menu and click on the “Add 3rd Party Account” sub-menu. Enter an account number that you want to transfer funds to and select the bank that the account is held at.

   3. After you have confirmed the information, a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent via SMS to your mobile phone number which you have pre-registered with Bualuang iBanking. Enter the One Time Password (OTP) in the box on Add 3rd party Account Verification Page and click confirm. You have now added a new 3rd party account.

To add more third party accounts in the future, only step 2 is required.

You also have the option to deactivate the SMS Authentication as well, if you prefer not to use it.

*My mobile phone number has changed

If your mobile phone number is not already registered with Bualuang iBanking (check under the “Preferences” menu / “View Contact Information” sub-menu) please update it using the Bualuang iBanking Amendment Form and submit this at any branch.

Transfer funds to accounts at other banks

Now you can transfer funds to other banks in Thailand. Just activate the SMS authentication service, then add a 3rd party account following the steps outlined above. You can then make your transaction by selecting “3rd Party - Other Bank”. You can find the list of banks covered in this service in the drop down menu on the “Add 3rd Party Account” sub-menu from “Transfer” menu.

SMS message notification

You can send an SMS message in either Thai or English to notify the recipients of your funds that you have transferred money to them. This appears at the bottom of Transfer Funds Page when “3rd Party Account” is selected.

A summary of your Be1st card spending history

You can now see details online about your transactions using your Be1st card.  This information can be found on the Spending Activity page for Be1st Card. You can view purchase transactions made using your Be1st card during the last three months.

We hope these improvements will make Bualuang iBanking even more convenient for you.  For more information, please contact 1333 or 0-2645-5555.
