Be Together Health is the marketing name for AIA Term 80 (Non Par) attached with AIA H&S Extra Rider.

The Insured is entitled to receive a special cash back if the coverage of AIA H&S Extra Rider has been in force until the policy anniversary date no less than one year, without making any claims, for in-patient, out-patient or death benefit within that policy year (provided that the rider does not lapse or is not cancelled during the policy year) and the premium payment for the next installment has been made within the grace period. If the premium payment is made on a monthly basis, the payment must have been made for at least 3 installments.

The Company shall pay special cash back to the Insured after a period of 90 days from the anniversary date of that policy year.

In the event the Insured’s death occurs while the policy is in force (AIA Term 80 (Non Par)), the beneficiary will receive 100% of the sum assured, the cash surrender value, or the regular premiums (including substandard risks) calculated according to the monthly premium payment mode from the first policy year until the death of the Insured, whichever amount is greater.

In the event the Insured’s death occurs while the coverage of AIA H&S Extra Rider is in force.

The basic premium is tax-deductible up to 100,000 baht, according to the Announcement of the Director-General of the Revenue Department Pursuant to Personal Income Tax collection (No. 172). Health insurance premiums paid after January 1, 2020 (if any) are also tax-deductible, up to 25,000 baht. When combined with life insurance premiums this must not exceed 100,000 baht in total.

The Company will pay for necessary and reasonable medical expenses incurred from treatment that is medically required and in accordance with the standards of medical practice performed by a certified medical practitioner in a sanatorium authorized to operate ‘hospital’ business according to the law on sanatoriums of the respective territory, except for the hemodialysis procedure that is required to take place at a dialysis center granted a license to conduct sanatorium business and to manage the sanatorium according to the law.

Waiting Period

The Company shall not pay any benefits under the following circumstances:

  • Any illnesses occurring within 30 days following the date on which this contract is issued or reinstated, whichever is later.
  • The following illnesses occurring within 120 days following the date on which this contract is issued or reinstated, whichever is later: Hernia, Pterygium or Cataract, Tonsillectomy or Adenoidectomy, and Endometriosis.

This rider is for a one-year coverage term and may be renewed. The Company reserves the right to change the premium amount during a policy year due to various factors including age, occupation and the Company’s claim experiences. For medical riders, other factors can be medical inflation and medical expenses, etc. subject to approval from the registrar.
