  • Mosquito-borne diseases include Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), Zika Virus, Japanese Encephalitis, Chikungunya and Malaria
  • Waiting period: 14 days
Requirements
  • Insurable age: 6-70 years old (Fractions of a day or month shall be counted as a full year)
  • Coverage period: 180 days (Non-renewable)
  • Eligibility: Thai nationals residing in Thailand
  • One policy per person
  • This insurance will not cover disease or sickness directly or indirectly resulting from the following causes:
    • AIDS or venereal disease or sexually transmitted diseases
    • Any disease or sickness as a result of drug or addictive substance abuse, including alcohol
    • Any conditions resulting in treatment from alternative or traditional medicine (i.e. not modern medicine)

To apply, simply fill out an application form at any Bangkok Bank branch then hand it in along with the required documents.
