How to apply
Legal Entity
- Copy of Registration Certificate issued by the Ministry of Commerce (not more than 3 months old)
- Copy of Commercial Registration/Business License
- Copy of Thai Citizen ID card of the authorized signatory
- Copy of VAT Registration (Phor Por 20)
- Minutes of the authorization meeting
- Bank Account statements with records for the past six months
- Photographs taken in front of and inside the shop
- Lease agreement
Note: The funds to be deposited in Merchant account must be by the same legal entity
Individual Merchants
- Copy of Commercial Registration/Business License
- Copy of House Registration
- Copy of Thai Citizen ID card of the merchant owner or copy of passport* if the owner is a foreigner. Supporting documents for foreigners must be issued by the Thai government, such as a copy of visa, work permit or driver's license.
- Bank Account statements with records for the past six months Photographs taken in front of and inside the shop
- Lease agreement (if any)
Note: All the required documents must be certified true copy with the authorized signatory and company seal (if any).

Fee for new EDC card-accepting merchants (Effective on 1 July 2025)

Note: Payments via QR PromptPay for individual merchants will not incur any fees until further notice from the bank.

*Sales of 50,000 THB or more include payments made via all types of debit/credit cards, AMEX/DCI cards, as well as payments received through QR credit cards, WeChat, Alipay, Alipay+, and PromptPay.
