Service Features
Bangkok Bank serves as an agent to submit withholding tax and information from corporates (juristic persons) to the Revenue Department through an electronic system. Once a payer with the duty to deduct withholding tax makes a payment to the beneficiary's account via Own Account Transfer, Third Party Transfer, Payroll, Direct Credit, Funds Transfer via SMART, PromptPay Bulk Payment or International Funds Transfer on Corporate iCash or BIZ iBanking*, the Bank will deduct the withholding tax from the payer’s account and submit the withholding tax, together with the withholding tax information to the Revenue Department. Payers will no longer need to submit withholding tax and information manually and will no longer be required to issue a withholding tax certificate. Both withholding tax payers and payees can check e-Withholding Tax on the Revenue Department’s website 24/7.
*e-Withholding Tax is available on BIZ iBanking via SMART only.
