Visa Account Updater ("VAU") is a service that automatically updates your Bangkok Bank Visa Credit Card information when a replacement card is issued.
The service enables uninterrupted recurring payments, including subscriptions, utility bill payments, and payments made through various platforms, as well as Card-on-File transactions for online purchases, without requiring you to notify participating merchants of your updated card information.
VAU is available exclusively to Bangkok Bank Visa Credit Cardholders and is effective from 1 September 2026 onwards.
Cardholders who do not wish to use the VAU service may opt out by notifying Bangkok Bank in advance. The cancellation will become effective within three (3) business days after the Bank receives the request.
Please note that cancelling the VAU service does not cancel any recurring payment arrangements you have set up with merchants. Cardholders must contact the respective merchants directly to cancel such recurring payment arrangements.
The use of the VAU service is subject to the Bangkok Bank Visa Credit Card Terms and Conditions and any other applicable terms and conditions prescribed by Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited.
