Apply via Bangkok Bank ATM - here's how:

1. Enter your card and input your PIN as normal.
2. Select your preferred language (For Thai SMS, select Thai language and for English SMS, select English language).
3. Select “Apply for/Amend Service”.
4. Select “SMS Service”.
5. Select “SMS International Remittance Alert”.
6. Select “Apply”.
7. Read the terms and conditions and press “Accept” if you agree.
8. Enter the 10-digit mobile phone number that you wish to use to receive the SMS and press “Correct”.
9. Press “Confirm” to complete the registration.

* If you would like to change your mobile phone number or cancel service, select “Update mobile no.” or “Cancel Service” and follow the on-screen instructions, then press “Confirm”.

Apply via Bangkok Bank Call Center - here's how:

1. Call Bangkok Bank Call Center (66) 0 2645 6655.
2. For Thai language, press 1. For English, press 2.
3. Press 3 to access the SMS International Remittance Alert service.
4. Enter your 16-digit debit card or credit card number.
5. Enter your PIN.
6. Press 1 to register for the SMS International Remittance Alert service.
7. Listen to the terms and conditions and press 1 if you agree.
8. Enter the 10-digit mobile phone number that you wish to use to receive the SMS.
9. Reenter the 10-digit mobile phone number that you wish to use to receive the SMS and press 1 to confirm.

Terms and Conditions

• The SMS Remittance Alert Service is an information service about remittances from overseas. The bank cannot be held responsible for any information you receive or any performance relating to this service.
• The bank may not be able to send you information on funds transfer transactions which we have received via other banks in Thailand. The remitter should ask foreign banks to send transactions to Bangkok Bank directly by quoting Bangkok Bank's SWIFT address BKKBTHBK.
• If you receive an SMS from the bank notifying that your application has been approved, you will be able to use the service immediately.
• The bank will send an SMS notification to your mobile phone when funds are transferred from overseas into your Bangkok Bank account from 08:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on the Bank’s business days.
• One mobile phone number can be registered to use the service for all of your accounts at Bangkok Bank.
• Bangkok Bank does not charge a fee to use the service, but retains the right to apply a fee for the service if deemed appropriate. You will receive prior notice should any fee apply.
