Investment Policy

• The Fund only invests in the investment units of the ChinaAMC CSI A500 Exchange Traded Fund (the Master Fund), which is an ETF listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) in the People's Republic of China and denominated in Chinese Yuan (CNY). The Fund has net exposure in the investment units of the Master Fund averaged in an accounting year not less than 80% of its NAV.
• The Master Fund is managed by China Asset Management Co., Ltd.
• The Fund may invest in other mutual funds under the same asset management company, averaged in an accounting year not more than 20% of the NAV.
• The Fund will not hedge against foreign exchange risk and is not invested in derivatives and/or structured notes.
• The Fund expects returns to move in line with the Master Fund. The Master Fund aims for returns that mirror the index (Passive Management).

Master Fund

The Master Fund primarily invests in constituent and reserve stocks of the CSI A500 Index, aiming to closely track the performance of the index. The CSI A500 Index comprises selected large-cap and highly liquid companies in the Chinese market. The Master Fund invests no less than 90% of its net asset value (NAV) in the constituent and reserve stocks of the CSI A500 Index, and holds at least 80% of these stocks (excluding cash holdings) at the end of each trading day.
