Account Type
There are three types of deposit accounts available: Savings, Fixed and Current
0pen an account
You can open an FCD savings account for 14 currencies at Bangkok Bank branch which provides a Foreign Currency Deposit service. To open an account for MYR and IDR are available only at Bangkok Bank, Head Office, Silom Road. Service Channel
You can add a FCD savings account in 14 currencies (except for IDR and MYR) by yourself using the Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking app any day from 06:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. and once you have successfully added your account, you can:
- from 08:30 a.m. – 06:00 p.m. on banking days
- Make funds transfers between your Thai baht account and your FCD account for up to 3 million baht per transaction
- from 8.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. on banking days
- Transfer funds overseas of up to 2 million baht per transaction per day. #newtab View details

- Check account activity and account balance
- Request account statement showing your transaction history for up to 12 months
via Bualuang iBanking
- Check account activity and your account balance 24/7
- Make funds transfers from your FCD e-Savings account to your Thai baht account for up to 1.2 million baht per day from 09:00 a.m.- 06:00 p.m. on banking days
via Bangkok Bank branch
