256-Bit encryption
We use 256-bit encryption for all our online banking services - the highest level of encryption currently available for use in the world’s banking industry.
We constantly update and test our technology to improve the protection of information about you and to assure the reliability of our information.
Automatic sign-off
If you leave your computer screen idle, you will be signed off from our service automatically. This feature prevents anyone from using your account while you are away from the computer.
Ensure accuracy of information
If you find your account information is incomplete, inaccurate or not current, please contact us via our Bualuang Phone Service 1333, (66) 0 2645 555 or at one of our branches.
One Time Password (OTP)
The OTP is sent to you from the bank via SMS to authenticate an action, such as when a new 3rd party account or new payee has been added; when you make a first-time payment to a new 3rd party account; when registering for the Direct Debit Service; and when changing your 3rd party transfer and bill payment limits.
The OTP can be used only once and will expire 5 minutes after it has been sent to you. If you have not used the OTP within 5 minutes, you will have to start the process again and obtain a new OTP via the SMS Authentication Service.
Tokens for businesses
If you use BIZ iBanking or iCash you will be provided with a Token which will generate an OTP each time you or your staffmake a transaction.
VeriSign Trust™
The VeriSign Trust™ Seal shows that VeriSign has confirmed Bangkok Bank’s identity and proven that Bangkok Bank is the rightful owner and operator of our website. It also helps protect visitors and our site from malware by conducting a daily scan of the site.
