We employ leading edge technology which makes Bualuang iBanking one of the most secure systems available.

Our system has an extremely high level of reliability. It can handle a huge peak hour volume and provide a high level of availability.

Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
SSL encrypts i.e. convert any data that comes from you to the Bank and from the Bank to you into numerical coding. This encryption process ensures that the data remains secure.

256-Bit Encryption
The higher the level of encryption, the stronger the security. We support up to 256 bits of algorithm, which is the highest level of encryption currently available for use in the world's banking industry.

Firewall
A firewall is a software that acts as a security guard who kicks any intruders out of the door. We use several levels of firewall to protect our system and your data.

Intrusion Detection Software
We have installed intrusion detection software, so we are immediately alerted if any suspicious activities occur.

One Time Password (OTP)
The One Time Password is the password which Bangkok Bank will send to your mobile phone via SMS. The One Time Password can be used only once and then it will expire 5 minutes after it has been sent to you. Bangkok bank will require the One Time Password for certain transactions or events such as registering a new 3rd party account.

Alerts and Notifications
As a default setting, you will receive e-mail alerts automatically under the following conditions:

• When you log on to Bualuang iBanking.
• When a new 3rd party account or new payee is added.
• When SMS Authentication has been activated or deactivated.
• When a new direct debit service has been registered.
• When transaction limits have been changed.
• When you transfer funds to 3rd party account.

To choose which e-mail alerts you wish to receive, simply go to the "My Settings" menu in Bualuang iBanking and select the "Alerts & Notifications" sub-menu. You can update your Alerts & Notifications at anytime.

Automatic Sign-off
If you leave your computer screen idle, you will be signed off from our service automatically. This feature prevents anyone from using your account while you are away from the computer.
