Add Own Account

1. How can I add my own account?

    1) To add your own account, please click on the "Quick Menu", then select "Add Own Account and Card".

    2) Please select the account type, enter your account number / unit holder number / bond holder number and set up your "Account Nickname" (account nickname is available for Savings, Fixed and Sinmathaya Subthawee Account).

    3) Please specify your account information as follows:
       3.1 For Savings, Fixed and Sinmathaya Subthawee Account: specify the ATM/Be1st Debit Card number OR the Passbook Number and Latest Passbook Balance for the account you wish to add.
       3.2 For Mutual Fund Account: specify the Fund Code, Passbook Number and Latest Passbook Outstanding Units for the account you wish to add.
       3.3 For Bond Account: specify the Passbook Number

      Then click "Next" to proceed

    4) After that, a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent via SMS to the mobile phone number which you have pre-registered with Bualuang iBanking.

    5) Please check the contents of the message carefully and ensure that the account number shown in the SMS is the same as the account you are adding. If the information is correct, enter the One Time Password (OTP) shown in the SMS. Then click "Confirm" to proceed.

    6) A new account number will be added to your account list. To check your account balance, please click “Go to My Accounts”.

    Note: Add Own Account is available from 7.00. - 22.00 hrs.

2. What is One Time Password?

The One Time Password is the password which Bangkok Bank will send to your mobile phone via SMS. The One Time Password can be used only once and then it will expire 5 minutes after it has been sent to you. Bangkok Bank requires the One Time Password for certain transactions or events such as registering a new 3rd party account.


3. How do I change my mobile phone number?

If you have recently changed your mobile phone number and have not yet registered it at a Bangkok Bank branch, please download and print an Amendment form (PDF) at http://www.bangkokbank.com/download/iBanking_amendmentform.pdf and then fill it out and hand to a staff member at your nearest Bangkok Bank branch. Please remember to bring your ID card/passport and a Savings Account passbook, or Current Account Cheque Book/Cheque Order, which has been previously registered with Bualuang iBanking. Please allow 3-5 business days for the number to be updated.
