1. What is the Bangkok Bank PromptPay Service?

PromptPay is an alternative way to receive and transfer funds using your National ID number or mobile phone without needing to provide an account number.


2. How do I register Bangkok Bank PromptPay Service?

    1) Click “Quick Menu” and select “Register PromptPay”.

    2) Select Account and enter Thai Citizen ID and/or Mobile Phone Number you wish to register.

    3) Accept Terms & Conditions and click “Next”.

    4) Verify your information and enter SMS OTP (in case you are registering with Mobile Phone), then click “Confirm” to proceed.

    5) Check your PromptPay register result, you will see the status “Completed” or "Not Completed".


Remark:- PromptPay service registration with "Citizen ID" is available only for those who have a Thai Citizen ID and can be for up to one citizen ID per account.
- PromptPay service registration with "Mobile Phone Number" can be for up to 3 mobile phone numbers per account.
- Thai Citizen ID and Mobile phone numbers already registered with an account under Any ID, will not be able to be registered with another account.
