ASEAN Growth Begins Here

Indonesia, ASEAN’s largest economy and most populous nation, is home to one of the most dynamic, high-growth markets in the world with GDP of around 5%, abundant natural resources, a large consumer base, and fast-growing digital economy.

The nation offers a scale and depth that few markets can match with its large and youthful population of around 270 million, rapid urbanization, and rich national resources. Its expanding middle class of more than 52 million people is a key driver of domestic demand and economic growth.

Following the success of the Investment & Trade Forum 2025, Bangkok Bank and Permata Bank are hosting this year’s Forum under the theme: ‘Driving Growth and Creating Opportunities: Unlocking Thailand & Indonesia Trade Corridor’. This will bring together senior executives from around 500 Thai companies and investors to hear about opportunities in Indonesia and perspectives from thought leaders including high-level representatives from Indonesia’s and Thailand’s diplomatic and business communities.
