- From May 16, 2016 all new cards will contain embedded electronic chips to provide the highest level of security unlike magnetic stripe cards.
- Chip cards will provide more security and cannot be duplicated by card skimmers.
- Bangkok Bank ATMs accept chip cards issued by any bank and Bangkok Bank chip cards can be used at all Bangkok Bank ATMs and others accepting chip cards.
