Indonesia’s Golden Indonesia 2045 vision is an ambitious plan to develop the country into the fourth largest single economy in the world. This comes at a time when Thai companies are looking for growth opportunities overseas, and Indonesia has already established itself as a key market for Thai companies and in 2024 it sourced more than 10 billion dollars of goods from Thailand.
The Indonesian government is already empowering its organizations to enhance their support for inward investment and has identified 28 strategic commodities across eight core sectors to achieve an average investment growth rate of 16.75% over the next five years to meet the country’s economic growth target of 8%.
The Bangkok Bank Indonesia Investment and Trade Forum 2025 brings together senior executives from some 500 Thai companies and investors to hear about opportunities in Indonesia and perspectives from high level speakers including representatives from Indonesia’s government and diplomatic and business communities.
