Bangkok Bank President Chartsiri Sophonpanich (2nd from right) as the main sponsor of the 4th Bloomberg ASEAN Business Summit in Bangkok welcomed and gave souvenirs to Thu Nguyen (left), Managing Director of VCG Partners Vietnam Fund, Dr. Santitarn Sathirathai (2nd from left), Group Chief Economist of SEA Limited, John Brown (center), Chief Executive Officer of Agoda, and Sunil Jagtiani (right), Bloomberg’s Bangkok Bureau Chief, who were speakers and the moderator of the special session organized by the bank to showcase innovative businesses in ASEAN with the aim of encouraging more innovative businesses in the region. This is in line with the theme of the 4th Bloomberg ASEAN Business Summit about the future of the ASEAN economy including opportunities and challenges. The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) plays an important role in the world’s economic growth.
