Bangkok Bank as a trusted partner organizes the Happy Retirement project to provide financial education to visually impaired people
Happy Retirement – Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Pochanee Kongkalai, Vice President of Public Relations Department Aphiwat Punnopakorn, Vice President of Micro Segment Management Thodsaporn Soponstiensuk, executives and staff joined Thailand Service Cooperative of the Blind Limited, led by its president Asst. Prof. Kamonwan Inaram, to organize the Happy Retirement project to provide financial education to visually impaired people. The training focused on financial planning for retirement and efficient debt management, taking place at Thailand Service Cooperative of the Blind Limited, while also available online.
Throughout the years, Bangkok Bank, as a trusted partner, has promoted financial knowledge and understanding as well as safe and equal access to financial products and services among visually impaired people. In collaboration with the Cooperative, Bangkok Bank held a workshop on signing names to make safe financial transactions. Moreover, the Bank collaborated with the Thai Blind Peoples Foundation to initiate the Fin Lit for the Blind project to make a manual for financial transactions in an audio format via the Read for the Blind application. These initiatives are part of the Bank’s commitment to create sustainable value for society in every dimension.
