Bangkok Bank takes part in the arrangement of a lantern as a Buddhist offering in the royal merit-making ceremony on Visakha Day 2023
Bangkok Bank took part in the arrangement of a lantern (electric bulb) with Bangkok Bank’s logo as a Buddhist offering to be lighted by His Majesty the King on the royal merit-making ceremony for the 2023 Visakha Day celebration at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in the Royal Palace. The Bureau of the Royal Household will install the lanterns received from the public in the pavilion of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha on Vesakha Day which this year fell on Saturday, June 3, 2023, or the 15th day of the waxing moon on the 7th lunar month, as this year is a leap year with 13 lunar months. This event aimed to continue the tradition and maintain the establishment of the blessings of Buddhism in Thailand.
