The young generation joins “giver” mission – Bangkok Bank, led by Mrs. Sumaitree Prasitsanprecha, Regional Manager Region 2 (3rd from left), Mrs. Wasana Bun choochoui, Branch Manager Rat Burana (3rd from right), Mr. Wasan Moonthongnoi, Branch Manager Thon Buri (2nd from left) and Miss Sukanya Yongcharoenkitkul, Assistant Branch Manager King Mongkut’S University Of Technology Thonburi Branch (right), together with King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, a leading partner of the bank, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr.Chaowalit Limmaneevichitr, Vice President for Student and Learner Development (5th from left) and Mrs. Sineenat Oota, Assistant Director of the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society (4th from left), invited executives, students and the general public to donate blood to support the “8 million cc x 2” activity to continue the “8 million cc for 80 years of Bangkok Bank” project. This project aims to increase the amount of blood reserves for the National Blood Center, Thai Red Cross Society which is used to save lives during an emergency. On the day, 149 donors joined the blood donation, of which 96 are first time donors, with total blood donation of 59,600 cc.
“8 million cc x 2” is Bangkok Bank’s ongoing activity as a “trusted partner and reliable close friend” who stands beside Thai society. The project successfully reached its target of collecting 8 million cc of blood which helped increase blood reserves for the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society. By collaborating with leading organizations, executives, staff and the general public who aware of the importance of the issue of low blood reserves, “8 million cc for 80 years of Bangkok Bank” project has collected 12,357,600 cc of blood from 30,894 donors. (as of September 20, 2024)
Bangkok Bank and the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society invites the Bank’s executives, employees, customers, and interested members of the public to join in the “8 million cc x 2” activity by donating blood at the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society's 12 locations nationwide, at mobile blood donation units, and at any provincial hospital which acts as a blood service branch hospital. Simply scan the QR code and fill in your information to ensure your blood will be counted as part of the “8 million cc for 80 years of Bangkok Bank” project.
Bangkok Bank and the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society will set up mobile blood donation units at Bangkok Bank’s Silom Head Office and Rama III building to facilitate blood donations for interested people in nearby areas.
