Bangkok Bank held a ceremony to pay tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother
On October 30, 2025, the seventh day of national mourning for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, Bangkok Bank Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors Mr. Singh Tangtatswas and President Mr. Chartsiri Sophonpanich, together with the Board of Directors, executives, and staff participated in a ceremony to pay tribute and express its deepest remembrance in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. A Bank representative recited the poem “Fah Din’s Farewell”, composed by National Artist Naowarat Pongpaiboon, Advisor to the Bank’s Musical Art Center, as an expression of sorrow. Subsequently, the President led the Bank’s executives and staff to observe a 93-second moment of silence in front of Bangkok Bank’s head office on Silom Road.
In addition, the Bank set up a table displaying the royal portrait and a condolence book for the Bank’s employees, customers, and the public to express their deepest sorrow and pay tribute to Her Majesty’s boundless benevolence and lifelong dedication to the Thai people. On this occasion, the Bank’s board of directors, executives, and staff also joined in signing the condolence book.
