Bangkok Bank continues its third round of blood donations in 2025 with 12 mobile donation points, contributions steadily increase toward the goal of delivering 7 million cc to save lives.
Moving toward the goal of delivering 7 million cc - Bangkok Bank, in collaboration with the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society, has set up 12 mobile donation points nationwide for the third round of blood donations in 2025 to provide convenient access for donors, executives and staff at Bangkok Bank’s Head Office on Silom Road. This meaningful effort aims to help increase the national blood reserve for the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society. As part of the project, blood donors who donated three times in 2025 will receive a commemorative amulet – Somdej Phra Pairee Pinas from Wat Bowonniwet Vihara – as a token of gratitude for their continued generosity and selflessness.
Under the “Bangkok Bank aims to deliver 7 million cc Blood Donation to Save Lives throughout Thailand” project (as of July 23, 2025), the number of donors has steadily increased with each round. For the third round in 2025, there are 1,183 participants donating a total of 473,200 cc of blood in a single day. This brings the cumulative total to 2,603,500 cc from 6,508 donors. The success is attributed to the strategic approach of establishing accessible donation points in both central and regional areas, and fostering partnerships with leading organizations to host these special events. Key collaborators include Chao Phraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital, the 2nd Infantry Division, Queen Sirikit’s Guard at Phrom Yothi Military Camp in the Prachin Buri province, Hua Hin City Municipality Office in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, and Saint Louis Hospital – all of which recognize the vital role of being a “giver” in ensuring sufficient blood supply for all circumstances.
Those interested in joining the “Bangkok Bank aims to deliver 7 million cc Blood Donation to Save Lives throughout Thailand” project can donate at the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society, in any of the 12 National Blood Service Regions nationwide, and at Mobile Blood Donation Units, and provincial hospitals that serve as blood service branch hospitals.
