New International Funds Transfer

1. What is New International Funds Transfer?
    This is an international funds transfer from your account to a new beneficiary account previously registered with Bualuang iBanking.

    All beneficiary accounts for international funds transfers must be previously registered by completing an application at a Bangkok Bank branch. Transfers can be made immediately or can be scheduled for a later date.

2. How can I make a New International Funds Transfer?

    1) Select the account to Transfer From.

    2) Select the Beneficiary account - it will show your registered beneficiary name and currency.

    3) Choose the “Date” for the transfer. Bualuang iBanking will automatically display today's date. If you wish to transfer funds on another date, click the calendar icon on the right (you can select another date up to twelve months ahead). If you have made the transfer transaction outside business working hours (9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.) or on a bank holiday, Bualuang iBanking will recommend you choose a transfer date on the next working day.

    4) Enter the “Amount” to be transferred.

    5) Choose your preferred fee payment option

        - 300Bt - only Bangkok Bank’s sender fee will be deducted, while other fees will be collected from the beneficiary’s bank.
        - 1,050Bt - both Bangkok Bank’s and the foreign bank’s charges will be deducted before sending. The bank may collect additional fees from your account if the foreign bank charges an additional fee. Beneficiaries may not receive the funds in full as foreign banks may deduct additional service fees from the funds before paying to the beneficiary.

     6) Select purpose of transfer as per registration.

     7) Fill in the “Transfer Reference” to clarify the purpose of the funds transfer. For example, you may wish to fill in the student name and ID number if you make a funds transfer for educational expenses. (English only)

     8) If you are satisfied with the information you have entered, click “Next” to continue. If you wish to cancel your instruction at this point, click “Cancel”.

     9) After you select “Next”, a summary of your instruction will be displayed for you to confirm.

     10) After you select “Confirm”, you will be asked to certify that on the date of International Funds Transfers pursuant to this instruction, the amount transferred via all channels does not exceed the Bank of Thailand’s limit. Click “Accept” to proceed the transaction.

     11) A Confirmation report will show your transaction instruction has been received and you will receive a Bank Reference Number for your records.

     12) To print a receipt, press “Receipt” and then “Print” (only available if submitting your funds transfer within working hours).

     13) If you make a scheduled transfer, the screen will notify that your instruction will be processed at 9:00 am. on the scheduled date and will apply the bank’s Selling TT Rate for that time.


Pending Transfers

1. What are Pending Transfers?
    Any International Funds Transfer transaction which is yet to be made.

    You can keep a paper record of Pending Transfers by clicking the "Print" button on the screen.

2. How can I Delete an International Funds Transfer?

    1) Select the International Funds Transfer transaction you wish to delete.

    2) Click “Delete Transfer”.

    3) A confirmation screen will appear. Click “OK” to proceed.

    4) If you want to delete the transaction, click “OK” to continue. If you wish to cancel your instruction at this point, click “Cancel”.

    5) After you have selected “OK”, a summary of your instruction will be presented for you to confirm. You can opt to print all transaction confirmation screens for your records.

    6) Click “Print” at the top right of the screen.


International Funds Transfer History

1. What is “International Funds Transfer History”?
    International Funds Transfer History is a list of transfer instructions that you had made (Both successful and failed transactions), over the past 120 days. To print out the report, click on the “Print” button on the top right corner of the page.

2. How can I view the detail of an international funds transfer transaction?

    1) Click on the international funds transfer for which you wish to view the details.

    2) The details of the chosen transaction will be shown.

    3) To print out the details, click on the “Print” button on the top right corner of the page.

3. What is the “status”?
    Three status indicators may be displayed:
    - POSTED = the transaction was successfully executed.
    - CANCELED = the transaction was deleted.
    - REJECTED = the transaction could not be processed.


International Accounts List

1. What is an “International Accounts List”?
    “International Accounts List” outlines the details of the beneficiaries you have registered with the bank, including their name, address, bank account number, bank name and address, destination country, currency and the purpose of transfer.

2. How can I view my “International Accounts List”?
    Click “Quick Menu” and select “My 3rd Party Accounts”, where details of your registered beneficiaries will be shown in the “International Accounts List” section - select the account you wish to view. The system will show details for your selected beneficiary.

    Click “Print” to keep a copy for your reference.


Register/Amend/Cancel Beneficiary

How can I amend or cancel beneficiary information?

    1) Click “Register/Amend/Cancel Beneficiary”.

    2) Click “Amendment Form”.

    3) Print and complete an “Amendment Form” for International Funds Transfer via Bualuang iBanking.

    4) Submit the form along with your Citizen ID card, passbook or cheque book or cheque request form of the deposit account tied to Bualuang iBanking to any Bangkok Bank branches. The bank will take 3-5 working days to process your application.
