Card Type and Credit Limit
Card Type: VISA card (no supplementary card) – The government agency’s name is indicated under the cardholder name on the card.
Credit Limit:
- Interest free up to 55 days
- The card has 1 baht credit limit. The government agency can request to increase the credit limit temporarily based on requirement; OR
- The government agency can set a permanent credit limit.

- A Letter of Request to apply for a Government Card
- The instruction appointing the Head of the cardholder
- Copy of the Citizen ID card of the supervisor of the cardholder
- The Power of Attorney (if any)
- Copy of the Citizen ID card of the authorized person (if any)
For Cardholder
- Thai Individuals

- Copy of valid Passport
- Copy of valid Work Permit
Fees and Terms of Payment
Fees
- Card issuance fee is waived throughout the period of card usage.
Terms of Payment
- Card spending must be paid for in full by direct debit from a Bangkok Bank account or by cheque payable to Bangkok Bank within the due date.
- In case of late payment, the Bank will charge interest at the rate of 16% per year. The interest is calculated from the date the Bank makes payment to merchants/service providers when the cardholders used their credit card until the date of complete settlement.
