Security tips for using banking services via electronic channels

Currently, electronic banking platforms such as internet banking or mobile banking are widely used and continuing to be more popular. For your security, we recommend you to follow below practice and precautions:

  1. DO NOT provide your User ID and Password to others, or input them on websites or applications other than those of Bangkok Bank. If you access your internet banking accounts via a personal financial application and provide your User ID and Password, you authorize the application to access and make use of your online financial information including making online transactions.

  2. DO NOT click any link (URL) sent with an SMS or Email, and DO NOT fill in your personal information or log on to a website sent with a link.

  3. DO download mobile applications from trusted sources only. You should also check on the trustworthiness of the application developer, read terms and conditions carefully before use and keep the application version and operating system up to date.

  4. DO change your password often. If you detect any suspicious transactions in your bank account, please change your User ID and Password immediately and contact the bank at Bualuang Phone 1333 or (66) 0 2645 5555.

  5. DO carefully read information and messages the bank sends to you via Email or SMS.

To protect your security, Bangkok Bank recommends that you only use our Bualuang iBanking service directly through the bank’s website or using our Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking application. Please be aware that all activities conducted with the correct User ID and Password will be regarded as having been conducted by the account owner him/herself. This means the account owner is liable for any transactions.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to call Bualuang Phone 1333 or (66) 0 2645 5555 available for 24 hours.
