Simply provide details of your Tax ID number instead of the recipient’s account number, and register this with your preferred account to receive money. A Tax ID number can only be registered with one account.


You can register at any Bangkok Bank branch nationwide, via BIZ iBanking, or contact our officers who can advise and assist you with registration.

“Bangkok Bank BizPromptPay” is a PromptPay service to receive and transfer money for juristic persons. This is an alternative way to receive and transfer funds electronically through the PromptPay system, using a Tax ID number (13 digits) instead of the recipient’s account number.
If a juristic person is interested to receive funds via Bangkok Bank BizPromptPay, what do they need to do?
  • Register the bank account used to receive funds with their Tax ID number.
  • Inform the transferrer to specify the Tax ID number instead of an account number.
What are the conditions to register for receiving funds via Bangkok Bank BizPromptPay?

The conditions of registration are as follows:

  • Only one Tax ID number can be registered with one bank account.
  • Only a current or saving account can be registered.
  • A Tax ID number that has already been registered with Bangkok Bank cannot be used to register with another bank, unless it has been cancelled with Bangkok Bank.

Registration for Bangkok Bank BizPromptPay means you can receive funds using a Tax ID number instead of an account number.

 

After a juristic person has registered with Bangkok Bank, they will be able to receive the following funds through Bangkok Bank:

  • Money transferred by individuals for payment of goods/services.
  • Tax refunds from government sectors or money transferred by a company selling goods and services to the government sector.
  • Payment for goods services from other juristic persons.
Is a juristic person wanting to transfer funds via PromptPay required to register for Bangkok Bank BizPromptPay?
The transferrers are not required to register and can transfer funds through electronic channels of the transferrers’ bank.  Once the transferring system of the transferrer's bank is ready for the PromptPay service, the recipients must register to connect the bank account with their Tax ID number.
