Investment Policy
- The fund has a policy to focus on investing in units of the Pictet – Global Thematic Opportunities Fund (the main fund), specifically in I USD units, in US dollars. The fund’s net exposure to the main fund units will average no less than 80% of the fund’s net asset value over the fiscal year.
- The fund may invest in other mutual funds under the same management company, averaging no more than 20% of the fund’s net asset value over the fiscal year.
- The fund invests in derivatives to hedge against exchange rate risks at the discretion of the fund manager and/or to enhance investment management efficiency (EPM) and/or structured notes.
- The fund aims for its performance to align with the Master Fund, which seeks to outperform the benchmark index (Active Management).
Master Fund
The Master Fund focuses on investing in equities of companies that benefit from demographic structures, environmental factors, lifestyle changes, and other long-term global trends. The fund can invest globally, including in emerging markets and China, and is managed by Pictet Asset Management (Europe) S.A. and registered in Luxembourg. The main fund employs an active management strategy, combining market analysis and fundamental analysis of the companies it invests in to select stocks expected to have good growth at reasonable prices. Additionally, the fund manager considers ESG factors as one of the main investment criteria.
