- For card applications via Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking, you are required to activate the card via Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking within 90 days from the application date, otherwise the card will be automatically blocked, requiring a replacement card.
- Will the PIN be sent with the card if I apply via Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking?
- The Bank does not send the PIN with the card. Customers can set a 6-digit PIN via Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking (after activating the card)

Spending with the Bangkok Bank Travel Card
How to use the card?
- The card can be used for purchases at physical and online stores displaying the Mastercard logo, both in Thailand and abroad.
- Cash withdrawals can be made at any ATM worldwide that displays the Mastercard logo by selecting the "Credit Card" menu. (ATMs in Thailand are not applicable)
Daily spending limit
Maximum daily spending limit is equivalent to 500,000 baht, across all currencies stored on the card
Are there any restrictions on overseas ATM withdrawals?
- The daily cash withdrawal limit is equivalent to 100,000 baht (no limit on the number of withdrawals). Cash withdrawal combined with purchases must not exceed 500,000 baht per day.
- Overseas ATM withdrawal fee is 100 baht (or equivalent) per transaction, and additional fees may be charged by the ATM provider.
Is there a purchase limit?
- The purchase limit is equivalent to 500,000 baht per card per day, across all currencies. Customers can adjust the purchase limit via Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking.
- Upon card activation, the system will automatically set a default spending limit of 5,000 baht.
Transferring the remaining card balance
How can I transfer the remaining balance on the card?
- You can do this via Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking. You are required to convert foreign currencies to Thai baht and transfer the remaining balance in Thai baht to the deposit account linked with Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking.
- Transfers of baht balance can be made before or after the card has expired.
What happens if the remaining balance isn’t transferred out within 90 days after the card has expired?
- If you have a linked deposit account: Bangkok Bank will convert all remaining foreign currencies to Thai baht using the buying rate on the following day after the 90th day deadline shown on Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking, and transfer the amount to the linked account.
- If you do not have a linked deposit account: Bangkok Bank will convert all remaining foreign currencies to Thai baht and begin charging a monthly account maintenance fee of 50 baht per card, until the baht balance reaches zero or until you link a deposit account to transfer the remaining balance.
