You’re taken care of when your flight is delayed with Mastercard Flight Delay Pass

The pass provides you with complimentary access to LoungeKey airport lounge while your flight is delayed by 120 minutes or more. This privilege is exclusively for Bangkok Bank Travel Card cardholders who register for the Mastercard Flight Delay Pass before their scheduled departure. (One pass per flight, with unlimited usage throughout the card’s validity period.)
Terms and conditions
  • The privilege is exclusively for Bangkok Bank Travel Card cardholders. The cardholder’s full name must match the name on the flight ticket and passport
  • Cardholders need to register for Mastercard Flight Delay Pass for themselves and one traveling guest before their scheduled departure via the Mastercard designated website click https://flightdelaypass.mastercard.com/fdppenhanced
  • Cardholders need to register for Mastercard Flight Delay Pass before the scheduled flight departure time. Registration can be done up to 364 days in advance after the flight schedule is confirmed.
  • Cardholders are entitled to one pass per flight, with unlimited usage throughout the card’s validity period.
  • Registration for the Mastercard Flight Delay Pass program will not be available for airports that do not have LoungeKey airport lounges or if the airlines and airports cardholders are flying do not send flight delay information to Mastercard’s system
  • If cardholders wish to change their registration details, they must cancel the existing registration and submit a new one via the Mastercard designated website click https://flightdelaypass.mastercard.com/fdppenhanced
  • With successful Mastercard Flight Delay Pass registration, when the registered flight is delayed by 120 minutes or more, cardholders and their traveling guest (if any) will receive LoungeKey access details through the following channels:

    • Flight delay notifications will be sent to the registered mobile numbers.
    • The LoungeKey passes will be sent in PDF format to the registered email address, containing:

      • QR Code
      • Full names of the cardholders and traveling guests (if any)
      • Reference number barcode
      • Valid date/time for lounge access and expiration date/time
      • The lounge name (s)
    • Cardholders and their traveling guests (if any) must present the LoungeKey passes together with their boarding passes and passports to the lounge staff member. Names on all documents must match. Traveling guests must travel on the same flight as the cardholders.
    • The LoungeKey airport lounges may have different policies and conditions specific to the location. Please check lounge details via the provided link click https://loungefinder.loungekey.com/Pass
    • The LoungeKey passes are valid for 24 hours from the time they are issued. Expired passes cannot be used
  • If the flight is canceled or rescheduled by more than 24 hours from the original departure, the privilege to use the LoungeKey airport lounge will not be valid. Cardholders are advised to contact the airline for compensation.
  • The privilege cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash under any circumstances.

Steps to register for the Mastercard Flight Delay Pass program



Steps for notifications about flight delay and the LoungeKey pass
  1. When the cardholder and the traveling guest’s flight is delayed in line with Mastercard’s conditions, SMS notifications will be sent to the mobile number registered for the Mastercard Flight Delay Pass program.

  2. The cardholders will receive LoungeKey passes for themselves and their traveling guests (if any) via registered email address. The LoungeKey pass will contain the following information:

    • QR Code
    • Full names of the cardholders and traveling guests (if any)
    • Reference number barcode
    • Valid date/time for lounge access and expiration date/time
    • The lounge name (s)

     

  3. The cardholders and their traveling guests (if any) must present the LoungeKey passes together with their boarding passes and passports to the lounge staff member before entering. Names on the LoungeKey pass must match the names on the boarding pass and passport.

Note: The traveling guest must be traveling on the same flight as the cardholder to use the Mastercard Flight Delay Pass.
