Bangkok Bank launches an exhibition and a commemorative book to mark “Bangkok Bank’s 80th anniversary: trusted partner and reliable close friend” showing important events in the past 8 decades that show how the Bank stays beside and grows with customers, people and the country.

80th anniversary exhibition - Bangkok Bank Vice Chairman and Executive Chairman Deja Tulananda, Vice Executive Chairman Singh Tangtatswas, President Chartsiri Sophonpanich, together with the Bank’s directors, executives and staff joined “Bangkok Bank’s 80th anniversary: trusted partner and reliable close friend” exhibition covering the Bank’s important events in each decade that link with major events of Thailand and the world in the past eight decades during which the Bank has been operating and growing beside customers, people and the country. The Bank will mark its 80th anniversary on December 1, 2024.
Bangkok Bank as a ‘leading regional bank’ celebrates its 80th anniversary under the concept of ‘Creating Value for a Sustainable Future’ which is a major policy to support the Bank’s growth via many projects. The Bank has launched corporate social responsibility projects since the beginning of 2023 including “8 million cc for 80 years of Bangkok Bank” which reached a goal of 8 million cc in February 2024 and continues with the “8 million cc x 2” project as well as “Bualuang Save the Earth: Rak Tha Chin” project. Stories of the Bank’s developments are presented in the “Bangkok Bank’s 80th anniversary: trusted partner and reliable close friend” exhibition and book. Many other activities that will be held until the end of 2024 include seminars to share knowledge to entrepreneurs nationwide, the launch of a special set of LINE stickers, Royal Kathin 2024 for 58 consecutive years, merit making to celebrate its 80th anniversary on December 1, 2024 and a charity run.
