
Bangkok Bank President Chartsiri Sophonpanich and Senior Executive Vice President and Corporate Secretary Dr. Kobsak Pootrakool open the second season of The Big Blue Ocean to provide knowledge to Thai entrepreneurs including owners and heirs. The program unveils concepts about business transformation for exponential growth with innovation and technology as well as the sharing of experiences by the country’s leading businesspeople and tips from digital gurus. This program emphasizes the Bank’s status as a ‘trusted partner’ who is willing to stay close to Thai businesses and help them achieve sustainable development.
Bangkok Bank Senior Executive Vice President and Corporate Secretary Dr. Kobsak Pootrakool said Bangkok Bank has opened the second season of The Big Blue Ocean to support entrepreneurs, business owners or heirs in enhancing their business potential to be ready for the new era driven by digital technology. The second season will focus on using AI (Artificial Intelligence) to enhance business competitiveness amid the rapid changes in the environment. Meanwhile, there are many regulations putting pressure on businesses and if they don’t learn to adapt to these changes, they won’t survive.
The second season of the Big Blue Ocean is a 13-week course focusing on marketing strategy and management to prepare organizations for the digital era, especially technology and how to use AI to enhance businesses. Highlights are AI and Data Analytics, Digital Human Resource Transformation, Business Process Automation and Operation Optimization, Performance Marketing Strategy & Execution and 15 more topics.
In addition, the program is packed with various activities, just like the previous season; for example, a visit to the Eastern Economic Corridor of Innovation and a knowledge-sharing session by senior executives from leading tech companies such as Google and Huawei, both in Thailand and Shenzhen, China.
The knowledge-sharing session on business transformation and sustainable growth strategy was led by Mr. Vasit Taepaisitphongse, CEO and President of Betagro, and Mr. Kan Trakulhoon, Chairman of Advance Info Services as well as digital gurus were such as Mr. Vatsun Thirapatarapomg, Country Manager of Amazon Web Services, Mr. Dhanawat Suthumpun, Managing Director of Microsoft (Thailand), Mr. Pochara Arayakarnkyl, Group CEO of Bluebik Group, Ms. Sopha Pimsiripanich from Digital Shortcut and Ms. Nathida Ratthanawut from Market Oops!. There is also a trip to Shenzhen, China, one of the most cutting-edge innovation cities in the world. Participants joining the program also have a chance to build a business expansion plan and present it to the Bank’s executives.
