The wait is over! Bangkok Bank introduces cardless withdrawal feature and continues to develop services to answer customers’ needs
November 05, 2020
Bangkok Bank has continued to develop new mobile banking features to answer customers’ needs and enhance their digital experience – most recently with the long awaited “cardless withdrawal” feature. Customers need only make a withdrawal request on the Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking app and scan a QR code at a Bualuang ATM screen to confirm the request and receive their cash. The Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking app was relaunched in June under the concept “A new experience for banking with ease”, with a modern new design offering a better customer experience, including copy-and-paste functionality for account numbers in response to customer requests for touchless banking in the New Normal era.
Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Prassanee Ouiyamaphan said Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking is ready to provide the cardless withdrawal service, a feature added in response to numerous customer requests. Now customers can make a withdrawal at Bualuang ATMs without any card required, which is especially useful when customers urgently need to use cash but have no ATM card. Customers can start the transaction conveniently by making a cardless withdrawal request on the Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking app, then get their cash at more than 10,000 Bualuang ATMs nationwide.
“Bangkok Bank has always valued customers’ feedback and focuses on delivering customers the most satisfaction. The copy-and-paste feature for account numbers and cardless withdrawal feature launched this time are the top two services requested by customers. The Bank has sped up the development and trial process and is confident and ready to deliver an accurate and smooth digital experience to customers. This is the main focus of Bangkok Bank’s financial services. The Bank is also developing many other features to be able to cope with financial transactions and management in a more comprehensive way.”
For better financial experiences, the Bank has launched five new features as follows:
