Bangkok Bank encourages the healthcare industry to use AI to increase treatment efficiency by supporting the Thailand Healthcare AI Conference & Datathon 2023 – Bangkok Summit

First time in Thailand! – Bangkok Bank encourages Thailand’s healthcare industry to use innovation and technology to increase its treatment efficiency and precision to drive the economy and investment for the future. The Bank joins Khon Kaen University to organize the Thailand Healthcare AI Conference & Datathon 2023 – Bangkok Summit for the first time in Thailand to bring global leading AI experts from MIT to provide knowledge to customers and hospital executives while emphasizing its role as a ‘trusted partner’ that provides good experiences to customers.
Bangkok Bank Senior Vice President and Innovation Department Manager Dr. Pao Sriprasertsuk said the Bank recognizes the importance of developing the healthcare industry in Thailand by using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to analyze patients’ data to increase efficiency and precision in treatments which will strengthen Thailand’s healthcare industry and increase its competitiveness. As such, the Bank supports Khon Kaen University by jointly hosting the Thailand Healthcare AI Conference & Datathon 2023 – Bangkok Summit, an international conference gathering healthcare AI experts from all over the world to share their insights and experiences to help increase participants’ skills and strengthen their knowledge.
“AI implementation is getting more attention particularly in the healthcare industry which uses AI and robotics to analyze patients’ data and assist doctors to diagnose diseases. It’s a good opportunity for the Bank to sponsor the summit to promote the benefits of using AI in the medical and healthcare industry while elevating it to an international level. The collaboration between the government, private sector and educational institutions will strengthen the innovation and technology for the Thai healthcare industry which is a target industry driving the economy and investment for the future.”
Mr. Pao added that the event is interesting and important for the Thai healthcare industry from which the Bank has many corporate customers. The Thailand Healthcare AI Conference & Datathon 2023 is held for the first time in Thailand during October 3 – 6, 2023, comprising three events: Bangkok Summit – October 3, 2023, Khon Kaen Datathon – October 4 - 5, 2023 and Khon Kaen Symposium – October 6, 2023.
The Thailand Healthcare AI Conference & Datathon 2023- Bangkok Summit on October 3, 2023 will be held in the format of a hybrid conference at The Athenee Hotel, Piman Siam Hall, 29th floor, Bangkok. The summit will be joined by experts, led by Dr. Leo Anthony Celi from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), a global authority on healthcare technology, who will share his expertise on AI and Data Science with participants to improve skills and strengthen their knowledge. The conference will also offer networking activities to exchange ideas between leaders from renowned Thai and international organizations, participants and related agencies to increase opportunities for successes.
