Bangkok Bank and the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society arrange a mobile blood donation unit for the 3rd time in 2024 to progress the “8 million cc x 2” activity and increase blood reserves as total donations reach almost 11 million cc.

“8 million cc x 2” – Bangkok Bank and the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society have arranged a mobile blood donation unit for the third time in 2024 as part of the “8 million cc x 2” activity in the “8 million cc for 80 years of Bangkok Bank” project to facilitate executives, employees, customers and others interested in donating blood. Executive Vice President Pornpimon Trongtiengdham, Vice President, Office of the President Penmart Hengparinyathorn, and Assistant Vice President Miss Tax Planning Chalita Phongroop led executives and Bualuang employees to donate blood to increase blood reserves of the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society at Bangkok Bank, Head Office, Silom.
As of July 17, 2024, the “8 million cc for 80 years of Bangkok Bank” project collected 10,934,000 cc of blood from 27,335 donors thanks to the collaboration of leading partner organizations, executives, employees and the general public who understand the importance of being a “giver”. The project helps ease the issue of low blood reserves which contibute to saving lives.
Bangkok Bank and the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society invites the Bank’s executives, employees, customers, and interested members of the public to join in the “8 million cc x 2” activity by donating blood at the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society's 12 locations nationwide, mobile blood donation units, and any provincial hospital which acts as a blood service branch hospital. Simply scan the QR code and fill in your information to ensure your blood will be counted as part of the “8 million cc for 80 years of Bangkok Bank” project.
Bangkok Bank and the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society will set up mobile blood donation units at Bangkok Bank’s Silom Head Office and Rama III building to facilitate blood donations for interested people in nearby areas every three months until November 2024.
