iCash Donation is a solution that integrates the new iCash digital banking for businesses with the Thai QR Payment service which is the channel to receive goods and service payments via QR Code. It has been developed to facilitate the acceptance of donations via QR Code and is available to organizations such as religious institutions and foundations. Donors can scan the QR Code using the mobile banking app of any bank, and your organization can view donation reports online through the iCash service.

Can other organizations apart from religious institutions or foundations apply for the iCash Donation service?
No, the iCash Donation service does not support other types of organizations yet.
What are the qualifications to apply for the service?
An applicant must be a religious institution or foundation with a taxpayer identification number (13 digits).
How can a religious institution without a taxpayer identification number apply for the service?
The religious institution has to contact the Provincial Cultural Office or Provincial Office of Buddhism to register for a taxpayer identification number before applying.
How much is charged in other fees?
Other transaction fees are as announced by Bangkok Bank.
Will the donations made via the iCash Donation service be reported automatically to the Revenue Department for tax deduction purposes?
For general donation units, these donations are not eligible for tax deductions.
For electronic donation units, the system will report the donation automatically to the Revenue Department.
When is the donation transferred to the religious institution or foundation's bank account?
The bank will collect all donations and transfer the total amount at the end of each day. The details can be checked from the online report on iCash on the following day.
